About the Provider

Dr. Mohamad Imam is an Internal Medicine Physician specialized in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research Fellow at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he worked with leaders in the field including Professor Keith Lindor and Professor Jayant Talwalkar. He completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He finished his internal medicine residency at the University of North Dakota and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Imam has several highly cited publications in prominent peer reviewed journals. He also serves as an Academic Editor for the Journal Medicine, Editorial Board Member for Drugs in Context: Gastroenterology, and was a Guest Editor for the Journal of Gastroenterology Research and Practice. Dr. Imam is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and a Mayo Clinic Alumni.
